You can achieve some basic functionallity from this software so it might be worth it but I wouldn't expect a 'perfect' replication of the G1000 and GFC 700 functionallity. Most of the useful functionalities has been implemented in this simulator, such as navigation, inset map, flight plan, flight director, and autopilot. In some cases, even though your computer meets the minimum PC requirements, the simulator may not function properly. Another is the full scale G1000 Flight Training Devices available from two garmin g1000 trainer for mac Elite Simulation, Precision Flight Controls and Garmin g1000 trainer for mac which are installed in several locations in the U.
